Tolma

This week end I am planning to again bake those nice “badamburies” of my childhood  which Anna Melkumian taught us in her website of Armenian cuisine edasovkusom.ru

They are great with Armenian coffee 

This time I saw New Year tolma in her website which is called “Pasus tolma” or “suti tolma”…”suti”  here means  ”fake” tolma since there is no meat in it and Armenians are famous meat eaters so anything without it goes as fake

Btw, first time Tolma with its real name was mentioned in Armenian manuscripts in the 5-th century as far as I remember…
